Justices fear medical marijuana could be abused.

Let me make one point clear: smoking is bad for you, period! Regardless if it is tobacco, marijuana, or maple leaves, the smoke from any burning plant contains chemicals that could have damaging effects on the lungs.

However, marijuana contains one key ingredient that the powers-that-be (PTB) don't want us to harness: Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, better known as THC. This chemical is known to increase creativity, and diminish respect for authority by making one think outside the box, among other things.

An increase of independent, free thinkers would be the result of widespread THC usage! Cannabis opens mental floodgates, helping to connect the dots and draw links between apparently unrelated ideas. This is what I mean by thinking outside the box. Too much of this may lead to a revolution of thought.

And I don't think this is such a bad idea.

Therefore, for the sake of a more progressive humanity, I hereby propose a national "Joint a Day" campaign. Just imagine how much violence would be curbed if more people smoked marijuana daily; especially in the prison systems. Who wants to fight and kill when they are stoned? There should be Cannabis factories, blowing Sativa smoke in the air, blanketing our society with good cheers. Instead, humanity continues to tumble into an abyss of frustration and confusion.

Contrary to popular belief, marijuana is not a brain killer. Short-term memory is affected, but over the long-term, there are no adverse cognitive effects from smoking Cannabis Sativa.

In fact, a study shows that moderate marijuana use has no detrimental effects on intelligence. The key word here is "moderate." According to this study, heavy use can actually lower IQ. Like the adage goes, too much of anything is bad for you.

Imagine how many more innovations our society would have if more people smoked herb. What if world leaders emulated the Native American Indians, and took a few tokes of the peace pipe before convening at international summits? There would be a whole lot more harmony and brotherly love floating around, that’s for sure.

Okay, enough playing the devil's advocate here… Marijuana use is not for everyone, I admit. I'm not advocating that ten year olds pick up the habit, or that pregnant women begin a daily regimen of hitting a bong. This would no doubt have detrimental health effects. However, we must examine the criminal attitude that exists behind this mystical plant.

The point I am making is this: marijuana is not a neurotoxin, unlike some legal drugs on the market.

So why don't the feds legalize it? There are several answers to this question: One, marijuana produces an altered state of consciousness, which poses a threat to the national group-think mentality. Two, they cannot control the production of this gift from the Creator, and therefore cannot tax it. Three, they are just plain evil.

The PTB are not trying to protect us, they are only trying to protect their own interests. They want us to continue to be slaves to their plan, without thinking about becoming the architects of our own. As long as we are pawns in their game, we are expendable to them. Fuck that! It is time to buck the status quo and play by new rules.

Let us now take a peek into our social history of marijuana. Before the Civil War, marijuana cultivation was a major source of revenue for America. Between 1850 and 1937, marijuana could be easily purchased in pharmacies and general stores as a medicinal drug.

Fast forward to 2004…What happened? Why have we regressed? Why have the references to Cannabis in the bible been ignored by the masses. Since we are such a God-fearing, Christian society, why are our minds so empathetically closed?

The war on drugs is racist to the core, starting with the resentment against Mexican immigrants in the early 1900s-- who popularized recreational use of marijuana-- and continuing with coercive penalties and jail sentences for poor people of color who primarily used the drug; It wasn't until more white people (the Hippies) started getting stoned in the 1960's that the feds relaxed the stringent penalties a bit, only to tighten the reigns a couple decades later under the guise of the "War on Drugs", thanks to President Ronald Reagan.

It’s time for the federal government to lighten up on the antiquated drug policies— then light up a fatty and chill out! We will all be better off.

Cold Turkey

Now that Thanksgiving Day is officially over, let us get down to the nitty-gritty. What is this holiday season really about? I think it's primarily about shopping.

But aside from the mass consumerism, what is it about Thanksgiving that triggers so much hysteria? Why is this the busiest travel day of the year? Why not Christmas?

May we all understand the truth behind the Thanksgiving Holiday, a fixture in American culture.

I hate to burst the holiday spirit bubble- I have been accused of being a bit of a Scrooge by some- but it is my goal to spread Truth. Once you know Truth, IT will set you free, and you can never turn back. We have been living in the midst of chicanery our entire lives, but with the recent development of real-time information, this illusion has begun to dissipate in favor of Truth. We are experiencing this process at this very moment, where we can click a link and information that we never knew existed comes to us instantly— potentially life-changing information.

Before the invention of the Gutenberg Press, information was only available to the privileged few. Most people were illiterate. I don't mean functional illiterates like this man, I mean real illiterates. This era corresponds to Europe's Dark Ages, when people were in the dark about true knowledge because they lacked information.

Here is some controversial, yet relevant, information: When we celebrate Thanksgiving, as decreed by the United States federal government, we celebrate the genocide of Native American Indian people.

Don't believe it can be true? Don't believe this country— that sponsored slavery, lynchings and thousands upon thousands of crimes against humanity— is capable of designing a national holiday around murder and deception, then having the nerve to call it "Thanksgiving"?

Think again.

The moment we realize we are victims of brainwashing and mind control, we will begin to allow new information, that is often contradictory to our present beliefs, to flow in. When this happens, we are changed forever.

Don't get me wrong. I am not on a crusade against the essence of Thanksgiving, a time when families come together to feast, spread love and bond together as a unit. Thank God for this time, for we need it more than ever now.

And it is definitely a bonus for those of us who are fortunate enough to have jobs that pay holiday time, encouraging us to be with our loved ones.

But we must understand history and symbolism.

Know thy self and celebrate thanksgiving everyday, for everyday there is reason to give thanks.

In the Holy Name of the Almighty Creator, YHWH, we thank you for this moment in time.

The Ukraine Theory

International election observers have accused Ukrainian authorities of conducting a ballot riddled with fraud.

Of course the United States Government is involved in this debacle; threatening economic sanctions against the Ukraine if it does not investigate claims of fraud and abuse. Why? It is because the looser of this election, Viktor Yushchenko, is a pro-westerner with U.S. and European Union backing.

The U.S. has been jockeying for power in the former Soviet Union since the Iron Curtain fell, and do not intend to let it slip through their hands without a fight. The Cold War may not be dead after all.

Why does the U.S. government insist on fighting fires all over the world, as its own house burns to the ground? This is ironic, to say the least.

The Bush Administration rejects the election as undemocratic. Can you see the hypocrisy in this? We are a society that has yet to examine its own history of voter fraud, yet feel the need to denounce it elsewhere. How can we insure democracy across the globe when we don't truly practice it here?

If the United States wants to continue to lead the world, it must lead by example, not coercion. This new breed of colonialism, where the U.S. Government installs puppet regimes in order to protect its interests, is not going to fly any more. What's happening in the Ukraine is just a small example of the shakeup that's going on around the world.

Have you ever tried to carry too many items, all at the same time? If one item slips, everything else can come crashing down with it.

To our government leaders: It's time to learn to let go. You can't control everything. The more you try, the more you loose. The time of your rule is over. Atone for your actions, and you will be spared. Continue on your course of greed, pride, arrogance and deceit, and you will be destroyed... Is anyone even listening?

The Ukrainian people are protesting. There are rumors that this could lead to a civil war.

Maybe this is a lesson for the American people. We can no longer afford to be passive!

Hate's Goin' Round...

And the temperature's rising. We are slowly but steadily reaching a boiling point, and have definitely reached a point of no return. Where do we go from here? Consumed with thoughts of hatred and anger, we can go nowhere but down. Enveloped with feelings of love and compassion, we shake off the constraints of gravity, and rise above.

People are fighting all around us. Soldiers. Basketball players. Fans. Students. Hurting one another. Killing one another. The pressure is increasing. Tempers are flaring. Hatred is in the air. Can you feel it? I sure as hell can.

It's thick. It's hot. It's suffocating. It's contagious.

Like the basketball brawl between Detroit and Indiana, our hatred has gotten totally outrageous!

Our world is changing, and as a result, so are we. The energy vibrations of Supernova 1987a are being felt. We are reacting to an influx of photon energy. There's about to be a shake up.

Our nation, the modern day Babylon, is firmly entrenched in World War III (a.k.a. the third crusades). People are gripped by fear. Heads are hot, brewed by frustration. Hatred is back in vogue. Irrational minds are in control (mind control, that is) of the masses, and we are being led into a burning slaughter house.

But we can still change courses. It's not too late. One person can make a difference. Each of us has got to believe that we are doing some good with a pleasant smile; a happy go-lucky attitude; a random compliment. We must apply our talents with confidence, because like a star, we were born to shine.

Help us uncover the jewel within our hearts.

Because, like Stevie Wonder said, Love's in Need of Love Today.

The power is ours, but we must seize it. I'm not talking about political power, that will come in due time. I'm talking about spiritual power, in partnership with the divine essence most of us know as spirit-- specifically, the Holy Spirit.

I Am talking about ascension. The time is upon us. Let love surround our hearts and minds.

As the temperature continues to elevate, let us evaporate, and rise above like steam. We change forms, but never die.

Mind over matter. Soul before flesh. We do create our own realities. Quantum Physics has proven it.

Now repeat after me:

Everyday and in everyway, I Am getting better and better.

Rice Pudding

A radio talk show host in Wisconsin called Condoleezza Rice "Aunt Jemima".

Let's look at this in further detail. Aunt Jemima was used by white men to sell pancake mix. Condoleezza Rice is used by white men to sell bullshit. Which would you buy?

Okay, we all know that the image of Aunt Jemima has negative connotations; being a stereotypical docile servant who would do anything to appease her master. And then there is Rice, anything but stereotypical, but still in the business of pleasing her master-- at any cost.

There are people out there who feel that this is a sign of progress. Ostensibly, it seems that the Bush cabal is a friend of the "minority." After all, she is the first African-American woman to be nominated for the third-highest seat in the nation. There's got to be power in that, right?

But dig deeper. Although it's easy to be fooled by what seems like forward motion, everything is not what it seems.

We must ask the question: Who really pulls the strings?

Do you know the history of the real Aunt Jemima? In summary, white men needed a novel way to sell their product, and employed a bright, articulate black woman to do it. This is no difference from what they're doing now.

But whatever they're selling, I ain't buying!

I don't care if it's pancakes, pudding pops or propaganda. Most of what they tell us is pure bullshit...

And if it doesn't fit, you must acquit!

Why do you think Colin Powell resigned? Forget the media hype. Why do you think he actually threw in the towel? Despite his prestige and expertise as a war strategist, the Bush Administration would not listen to him. Why? Because they had their own agenda from the start, and it didn't matter what anyone else said.

Colin Powell was treated like a non-entity. More specifically, he was treated like a prostitute. They sent him to the United Nations to do the dirty work of spreading the now infamous lies of weapons of mass destruction. After that, his credibility was shot.

Am I offended that a white man compared Condoleezza Rice, a genius, to Aunt Jemima? In this case, I couldn't have said it better myself.

All that brain power gone to waste. What an utter disgrace!

Condoleezza Rice left the academic world- as former Stanford University Provost- to help create a more twisted world. For what? Power and greed? Please don't tell me she wanted to serve her country. My response to that would be...

And let us never forget that a mind is a terrible thing to waste. With all that intelligence, you would think Dr. Rice would choose to help build bridges to a glorious future. Instead, she's helping to destroy them. Is the lust for power that serious?

Fuck it! President Bush can have her, along with his scrambled politricks and gritty foreign policy! I just hope she's not serving his breakfast too.

The Toilet Bowl

I'm appalled by the state of the world. The United States Government is leading us into utter destruction; but according to the right-wing, neo-conservatists, everything is just fine. One thing that has been crystallized in my thinking over the last several months is, history definitely repeats itself.

What do I mean? Our liberties are being eroded, little by little, and the mainstream pretends not to even notice. Check out the Patriot Act. If that is too theoretical, check out what is going on in California, with the proposal to mandate the installation of GPS on all cars, in order to tax people based on how much they drive. What the fuck?

Let me remind you, taxation without representation is not okay. Any proposal to introduce a new tax should be struck down immediately. It is not that the governments don't have enough money. It is that they mis-manage the funds they do have. We should demand accountability for every dollar spent. They often tell us that the money will go toward education, but this is just publicity (i.e. propaganda) in order to appeal to our hearts. We should know by now that they lie all the time in order to cover their real agendas. Lies, lies, lies are all around us. Where is the love?

I'm not advocating a physical revolution, but a spiritual evolution. We are living in a toilet bowl, where excrement floats all around us. The biggest problem is, we are so immune to it-- the lies, deceit and violence-- that we don't realize that we are about to be flushed with the rest of the filth. The best way to beat this situation is to rise above it. I'm calling for a paradigm shift. The governments and bureaucrats are dinosaurs. They claim to know what is best for us, but they don't. Do you really believe they have our best interests at heart? They say that we need more cops on the streets, but how much crime do cops actually stop?

My experience with law enforcement is that they do more to antagonize citizens than to actually protect them. Even after being victimized by a crime, the only function they seem to provide is that of keeper of records. What about investigation? It depends on how high profile the crime is. For example, my home was burglarized a couple years ago. The police came out and collected fingerprints, shoeprints and other evidence. Our next door neighbor had just moved out and we were convinced that he was the perpetrator. Everything that was stolen was in a strategic place that would be known only by someone who had been inside our home; and this guy had a history of dealing with stolen electronics and DVDs (I know I should have known better). Sure enough, these were the exact items that came up missing. The police filled out a report, and we were assigned a detective. We gave the detectives the prime suspect on a silver platter, and explained the reasons why we believed that he perpetrated the crime. We even managed to get a copy of his driver's license from the apartment management company. After several weeks, the only response we were able to get from the detective was that the suspect said he didn't do it... Huh?

Isn't that what suspects do? Isn't it human nature not to incriminate one's self? When we asked about the fingerprints and shoeprint found, we were told that the lab would not investigate it further because it was not a priority. They had more important crimes to investigate like rape and murder. Now I agree that those crimes are more important than the theft of a few personal items (by the way, a handgun was one of the items taken); however, isn't that why detectives are categorized into specific units (homicide, vice, etc.)? Doesn't this insure prioritization? I am sure that my case was assigned to a detective that deals with burglaries, not murder! So doesn't that mean that the system does not work? Either way, the detective did not do what she was paid by taxpayers to do. She did not properly and thoroughly investigating my case.

But go five miles over the speed limit and they are all over your ass. Why? Because tickets and infractions bring in revenue.

This is just one small example of why the system sucks. I'm sure that each one of you reading this can think back to at least one instance in your life where the system has not worked when it should have. If you can not, and you are over the age of eighteen, I have two words of advice for you-- Wake up!

The purpose of this blog is to open the eyes of humanity. We are caught in the midst of a world that will not last. Either we evolve, or be destroyed with it.
