Inspiration

I am inspired by the way life unfolds. When you are unprepared, the unexpected often happens. It can either make you or break you. We have the power to split atoms. Why not manifest our destiny with our will power? The power of Will, will instill divine blessings from the essence of creation. Without hesitation, I take a step forward. Toward my future, without fear. I sense that my destiny's here, but when will it appear?

I am my own creator. I am my own savior. I keep my heart instilled in the midst of the divine; but I know that when shit happens, I am the one that must step up. I am the captain of this ship.

I put my game face on, and wear it like a mask. I must keep the faith, in order to keep pace with this world as it accelerates. This climate is unbearable to the poor. Who the fuck wants to be poor? Nobody, that's who!

Fuck this! I have to get back on the grind. I'm not going to allow anyone else to determine my destiny. I am the captain of this ship.

My inspiration is what carries me through the trials and tribulations of daily living. Like a lithium-ion battery, I am rechargeable. Everyday is a new day.

What have I done today?

Besides sleep until noon
And carbonize a little boom
Upon waking
I vowed to maintain a subtle buzz
Throughout the day because
I know how to operate altered
And I have never faltered
In my quest to discover a new reality
When I collaborate with T-H-C
I'm not saying it's the only route to my destination
But I have encountered many situations
Where I've performed at optimal expectations
And today is Saturday
My favorite day
Where I experience a freedom that seems crazy
And the influence of the "real world" cannot faze me
Today my 8-to-5 day job doesn't pay me
So creative thinking is my vocation
And this job, I swear, is like taking vacation
I simply hang a sign-- "Do not disturb"
Then navigate around this perpetual curve
As the world spins out of control
I comprehend my thoughts on a much higher level
And create my universe without weight of the devil
I relax and breathe with the mind of a rebel
Then I take another toke...
Making contact with my inner child
The part of me that loves without question
And lives without a hardened heart
It is my soul that I choose to jumpstart
And IT paints my day like a work of art

Let Go...

The majority of the world's problems exist because of ego
When will we just learn to let go?
The need to be right has a firm grasp on our mentalities
Casting a shadow over our already skewed realities
I pray to God that we one day understand
That we will never have the upper hand
Until we learn to breath, relax, and let it all go
Then we will learn the true purpose of ego...
