Thoughts of Akili

It is my duty to share my point of view with the world, to spark brain cells and build a momentum for change. One man can make a difference. May we all ascend to Godly heights, in the name of the Most High. Amen.

Let's Talk Truth

It is my belief that if Barack Obama doesn't become the next president of the United States, our civilization is doomed. Not just our nation, but the entire civilization. I'm not necessarily saying that he will definitely save the world, but at least with him we have a fighting chance. I can't say this about the other two candidates.

At this moment, there is a food crisis going on around the world, driven by this government's alternative fuel policy. We are at war with Iraq and Afghanistan, and are planning to go to war with Iran and Syria. Our military is stretched too far, and soldiers who have fulfilled their tour of duty are being called back again and again (back door draft). The climate is changing so drastically we are having massive tornados, hurricanes, and earthquakes in places where this is not the norm. People are frustrated (or as Barack said, "bitter"), and angry because they are loosing their homes and jobs at record levels, and all the current administration wants to say is that we are not in a "recession"... Well they better think of another word for it because in summary, we are fucked… especially if we continue on this course of action.

And I haven’t even mentioned the prophecy of biblical and other ancient texts. We are at a crossroads, and we still have time; but the window of opportunity is becoming narrower as each day passes, and we must move swiftly. Will we go right or left? The time to decide is now.
The pettiness of this campaign season only proves that there are a mass of people who continue to buy into the nonsense of propaganda, and would rather see the world destroyed than to vote for a Black man, no matter how brilliant and promising he is.

The Wright Shenanigan

Obama says he's 'outraged' with pastor's comments

Like the saying goes, "Whatever doesn't kill me, makes me stronger..."

Those who are on the fence will use this as an excuse to switch to Hillary, or even worse, to McCain. Those who are against Obama will hate him for whatever he does. But those of us who are for Obama can see his genuine character through this smoke-screen of negativity and support him now more than ever.

I wouldn't be surprised if Reverend Wright is getting paid under the table by the Clinton campaign. I didn't have a problem with him until his little performance at the press club yesterday, where he showed what an arrogant ass he truly is. What type of true Christian takes the center stage at a time when it is morally imperative to stay out of the spotlight? This was clearly ego, and Rev. Wright, in spite of his past accomplishments, has proven that he is no more than an average sheep in the flock (far from an enlightened individual).

As a true Christian, it is important to always ask what Jesus would do in any given situation. Didn't Jesus say "turn the other cheek"? It appears that, despite his impressive credentials, Rev. Wright does not truly understand this basic tenet of the man he claims to follow.

Stay strong Obama! You will not only get the nomination, you WILL become the next President of the United States.
